摘要
In this work, we calculate the magnetocaloric effect in Gd(Al1-xNix)(2). We use a Heisenberg model where the spin-spin interaction is treated in the numerical Monte Carlo simulation. The isothermal entropy change and the adiabatic temperature change upon magnetic field variations are obtained using specific heat calculations. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
