Hallucinations and psychosis can be a part of Parkinson's disease and are considered to be a nonmotor symptom or a neuropsychiatric complication of the disease. Hallucinations of different modalities and delusions can occur beyond the common visual hallucinations. The various types of hallucinations and psychotic symptoms comprising the spectrum of Parkinson's disease psychosis is the subject of this review article. (C) 2017 Published by Elsevier B.V.
