摘要
All-cellulose composites (ACCs) are mono-component cellulose-based composites, in which the matrix is regenerated cellulose and the reinforcing phase is generally composed of high-strength cellulose fibers. This kind of composite is featured by its good interfacial compatibility, biocompatibility and biodegradability because of the same cellulosic composition of the matrix and reinforcing phase. The as-prepared ACCs display superior mechanical, optical and barrier properties and are becoming the most promising all-biomass materials. In this short review, we summarize the preparation methods and controllable parameters of ACCs, point out the main influencing factors and effective strategies to improve their properties, and present the challenges and prospects in this field.
