摘要
The disadvantages of the traditional design in mechanical product development and design can be conquered with adopting the theory of concurrent engineering. In the paper, the concept, goal and working mechanism of concurrent engineering (CE) are discussed, and then its system-structure and integration-environment are introduced, and method and model of CE in mechanical product development are researched, and finally the supporting of management and technologies are expatiated. The results indicate that CE is an advanced design method that gathers new design technique for modem product in the integral whole, solve the difficult problems in T, Q, C, S, E, that is minimize the Time To Market (T),best Quality(Q),lowest Cost (C) and excellent Service (S) as well as pureness Environment (E) to satisfied the different kinds of guest. thus it will work more and more importantly in mechanical product development and design.
