Ergonomics in the school - Utopia or reality; Luxury or necessity

Ergonomics, as a branch of science, finds application for the most part in the sphere of production, but for the last ten years in offices and homes as well. However, schools and the educational system as a whole have only recently focused on ergonomics, as proof, the newly formed ECEE technical committee to IEA. The school environment is an important factor for individuals at an early age (childhood and teenage years). Besides an early knowledge of ergonomics forms the basis for the application of ergonomics throughout life, in maintaining health, the ability to work, and the quality of life.
