摘要
New experimental solubility data of N-2 in water are reported over a wide temperature range from (274.18 to 363.02) K and pressures up to 7.16 MPa. A static-analytic apparatus, taking advantage of a pneumatic capillary sampler, is used for fluid sampling. The experimental data generated in this work are compared with those reported in the open literature with good agreement. The Valderrama modification of the Patel-Teja equation of state combined with nondensity-dependent mixing rules is used for modeling the gas-liquid equilibrium. The solubility data generated in this work are used for tuning the binary interaction parameters between nitrogen and water. The model predictions are compared with independent experimental data on nitrogen solubility in water as well as water content of the gas phase. The results are in good agreement, demonstrating reliability of the technique and the thermodynamic approach used in this work.
