摘要：
A compact printed CPW fed band notched ultra wideband antenna is presented and discussed. The antenna constitutes of a square ground plane with a triangular slot and a rectangular stub. Two open ended slits are made at the top end of the rectangular stub to reject 5-6GHz frequency band. A compact dimension of 26x26 mm(2) is occupied by the antenna. Both frequency domain and time domain characteristics of the band notched triangular slot antenna are carefully investigated.
