摘要
The aim of this study is to analyze the energy consumption of the public transport in Lublin on selected means of transport (Solaris Trollino 12S trolleybus, Solaris Trollino 18 M and Ursus E70110 electric bus). Currently, Lublin's transportation fleet is equipped with an electric drive due to the lack of emission of greenhouse gasses in the place of exploitation, quiet drive operation and greater efficiency than the internal combustion engine, as well as its durability. Modem traction drives allow to carry out the process of regenerative braking with recuperation of energy to the trolley wires or energy storage systems. On the basis of the energy consumption analysis of three means of transportation equipped with an electric drive, we can assume that the regenerative braking process significantly contributed to the limitation of the energy consumption.
