摘要
In this second installment of Cowboys & Pirates, my performance continues to explore how identities are shaped, constrained, or expanded. My staring place is a song called "Stories from the kitchen table"; where and what, I wonder, has shaped the narrative arc of this song? Where are my narrative moorings? Through other stories I have learned about, been told or have created, I revisit the way counter-narratives emerge such that they provide a means to break out (or through) dominant gendered, class, and racial narrative templates that we might otherwise be entombed within.
