摘要
The transformation of the Slovak society means a burden also for the teachers. Teachers have fetched up in a complicated situation. They should be able to adapt to changes much earlier then other members of the society, mainly because they should accept changes, de facto evaluate them and consequently apply them to the teaching process. The growth of various social reforms has shown also in teachers' work. In Slovakia teaches have been moving in the net of vague interdisciplinary relations for over ten years. There have been discussions about, for example, how health education and environmental education should be included in the curriculum of primary schools. The contribution introduces teachers' opinions of the position and content specification of health education in Slovakia. The paper has been supported by the grant VEGA 1/2530/05.
