摘要
The authors propose a floating breakwater with two boxes for deep-water areas where the period of waves is longer, as opposed to conventional single box, floating breakwaters. The purpose of this study was to investigate the performance characteristics of a floating breakwater with two boxes, using two kinds of test and computations. The method of estimating the transmission coefficient of this floating breakwater was established by a numerical wave tank. The measured result of which showed that this method could estimate the transmission coefficient of this floating breakwater accurately.
