摘要
This paper focuses on the evaluation of teachers and students' English language competence in classroom teaching. The main research methods are teacher interview and questionnaire. Based on the attribution analysis of the collected materials and data, this paper finds out the achievements and problems in the current evaluation of English language competence. Some suggestions and ideas are put forward to construct the scientific evaluation of teenagers' English language competence. On one hand, it requires teachers to continuously improve their teaching ideas, teaching methods, teaching means, teaching contents and so on; More importantly, the teachers should play the leading role in the students' English learning process more effectively, guide students to adapt to the new learning environment, stimulate the students' learning motivation, establish the correct learning concept, set clear goals, choose the appropriate learning content, master the process control, optimize the learning strategies and improve the learning reflection and improvement.
