The simulation comparison research of two types of high-order triangular finite element methods for the numerical simulation of two-dimensional nonlinear electromagnetic fields is presented in this paper. The comparative study has been done in many ways, such as the accuracy of computation, the computation time and computer storage requirement. The comparative results obtained in this paper are very useful to calculation methods used in electromagnetic fields in modern physics fields.
