Exploration and Practice of Modern Apprenticeship System as the Cultivation Mode

Objective: This work is to explore how to train skilled technicians that enterprise needs by using the Modern Apprenticeship system according to the practical situation in local and national environment. Method: A training agreement about using the Modern Apprenticeship system is reached between education department and employer; The education department works out a teaching plan according to the employer's needs; Finish studying in the education department, students are arranged in certain position during their training, learning techniques and skills from qualified masters and becoming the regular staffs. Result: Trained by this kind of cultivation mode, students were competent in their job position; what's more, the cultivation period is shorter than other kinds. Conclusion: The training mode of Modern Apprenticeship system is basically suitable to the actual national conditions of China. However, many problems appeared in the process of practice need to be solved and guaranteed both in national policies and systems.
