Inverse radiative problem in semitransparent slab with variable spatial refractive index

摘要：
The inverse radiative problem in semitransparent slab with variable spatial refractive index was presented. A backward Monte Carlo curved ray-tracing method based on the radiation distribution factor is used to solve the radiative transfer equations. The inverse problem is formulated as an optimization problem and solved using the conjugate gradient method. The results show that the profiles of the source term could be estimated accurately even with noisy data.
