摘要
Anesthesia is an intervention which overcomes at least once in 3/4 people during a lifetime. In fact, it is more an artful assessment from patient's state and acted upon based on anesthesiologist's experience. The various systems involved in the complete anesthesia regulatory paradigm are: hypnosis, neuromuscular blockade, analgesia, hemodynamics, surgical stimulation (nociceptor stimulation). The role of cybernetics is to deliver a complete interactive regulatory problem among these systems and successfully regulate towards an optimal general anesthesia level in the man. Given the progress in the field of systems, man and cybernetics, and the newly available tools for monitoring and sensing human state, there is the opportunity to provide breakthrough scientific impact in the anesthesia regulation problem.
