摘要
A new assessment method for some elastic moduli of porous ceramics was recently proposed. This method is based on the determination of a correlation between the Young's and the shear moduli, of a given porous material. Using such a correlation enables one to use a single sound wave velocity for quantitative non-destructive evaluation (QNDE) of all the elastic moduli of the porous media. This method is applied to various sintered porous Al2O3 samples in the present study and to data points from the literature.
