A non-direct method for contingency ranking in power systems using fuzzy logic

摘要
Since power systems are always subject to different contingencies, contingency ranking in power system has special importance. Most methods offered for contingency ranking are not flexible and when transmitted active power increases in lines (during contingency occurrence) without regard to the amount of power increase, have equal behavior. In this paper, a method is offered that with using fuzzy logic to rectify the mentioned shortcoming, are applicable for all power systems and contingency probabilities can be chosen separate from each other. At the end, the offered method will be simulated on IEEE-RTS and its results will be discussed.
