摘要
The main goal of this study is to obtain an Urban Vehicle Traffic (UVT) system that has real-time features. The traffic participants can move from one place to another under timing constraints if the traffic systems do not exceed some worst case loading variations. The UVT control system has the task to maintain at least specified transfer rates on all lanes linking the intersections. This goal can be achieved by correct design of the maximum vehicle traffic flows and using the right control decisions. The distributed control system consists of local hierarchical fuzzy logic controllers that transform the global priorities into local priorities that are implemented through structuring according to the local fuzzy rule sets.
