摘要
This paper describes about the lifetime improvement of the rubberless artificial muscle(RLAM). The RLAM is one of the pneumatic actuators, and the drive mechanism is same as McKibben type rubber artificial muscle. The RLAM includes an airbag which is made by an inelastic material instead of a rubber tube. In this paper, we improve outer sleeve and airbag of this actuator for a long lifetime. We confirmed the effect of an improvement of the RLAM for a long lifetime experimentally.
