摘要：

God's desire for a relationship with the world and especially with humanity is highlighted by three theological notions which are of vital importance for the shaping of Old Testament theology, each in its own way: steadfast love, heart, and spirit. This contribution strives to demonstrate how these notions have been used to characterize the relationship between God and humankind primarily in the Torah and in the Psalter.
