Balanced quaternary sequences of even period with optimal autocorrelation

摘要
In many communication systems, sequences with low correlation can reduce interference and noise. Tang and Lindner presented a construction of low autocorrelation quaternary sequences of period p based on cyclotomy, where p = 4 f + 1 = x(2) + 4y(2) is a prime ( f, y are integers and x = 1 ( mod 4)). In this study, a class of quaternary sequences of period 2p are proposed via interleaving two Tang- Lindner sequences of period p. New quaternary sequences of period 2p are balanced and have optimal autocorrelation when x = 1.
