摘要
Knowing the behavior of the cellular physiology of microalgae is important because their growth and biochemical composition can be influenced by the concentration of nitrogen in the culture medium. We have described the influence of nitrogen on the growth profile of Ankistrodesmus sp. This Amazonian microalgal species was cultivated in BG-11 medium with and without nitrogen at pH 7,5 under aerated conditions. The photoperiod used was 12 hours on and 12 hours off at 25 degrees C, with a light intensity of 100 mu mol photons.m(-2).s(-1) and tripled in nineteen days; Initial and interspersed readings were recorded during the evaluation time with a Nanodrop UV / visible spectrophotometer. The results indicated according to the t-student test that there were no statistically significant differences between the control group and the treatment with a p value of 0,203 and 95% confidence, because the optical density growth record was similar between the control and treatment. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the effects of the other parameters that affect the culture and thus the growth of this microalgae to establish optimal growth conditions for this species.Y
