摘要：

With the more and more maturation of Internet and computer technology, E-commerce has been widely applied in economic field. Furthermore, E-commerce has accumulated a lot of information material from which the decision information is abstracted. The decision information is stored in the views of data warehouse. As the definition of the data warehouse views crosses several back-end database in E-commerce systems, the traditional algorithm of maintenance may lead to inconsistency of the data in views with the data in database To solve the problem, in this essay VMCA (view maintenance compensating algorithm) algorithm is introduced. VMCA not only reduce the communication cost between data warehouse and database, but also make the maintenance of materialized views more efficient. This algorithm is of great spread value and applicable prospect.
