摘要
The notion of otherness is conceived variously according to theoretical approaches within Romance linguistics. Although operational among Spanish and Portuguese linguists, it is nevertheless in the writings of French linguists that this term ends up imposing itself in line with a long linguistic tradition whose exploration constitutes the goal of this research. In order to shed light on the notion of otherness, it is considered in connection with other concepts widely discussed in current linguistics, such as shown heterogeneity / constitutive heterogeneity, polyphony, dialogism, subjectivity, truth, etc., This connection brings out the different modes of presence of the Other and the various forms of apprehension of the otherness / identity relationship in French linguistic literature.
