摘要
Seven star formation regions have been observed in the 5(1) --> 6(0)A(+) transition of the methanol molecule over a 9 month period beginning in 1994 June. Measurements were made with the Penticton 25.6 m paraboloid and a correlation spectrometer. Since these observations were taken several years before publication of spectra from other northern hemisphere observatories, they provide earlier epoch examples for the study of variability. The major feature in one region appeared to have increased by about 10% in 2 days.
