摘要：

Numerous pharmacokinetic and physiologic interactions are involved in the utilization of iodinated contrast in computed tomograpby. Patient related factors, injection related variables including contrast material concentration, and intravascular and organ specific imaging techniques are but a few of the principles that must be understood. With the advancement of faster CT scanners, these factors must be considered for optimal contrast enhancement.
