摘要:
The nickel-phosphorus (Ni-P) coating was obtained by electroless plating. The effect of heat treatment and the type of stabiliser on hardness value, corrosion resistance and microstructure of Ni-P coatings were studied by scanning electron microscope, X-ray difractometer and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method. The Ni-P electroless coating contains similar to 9.18 wt-% P and 10.68 wt-% P according to the type of stabilising agent, thiourea and lead acetate respectively. The results showed that coatings obtained using lead acetate as stabiliser have higher corrosion resistance than ones that obtained from bath contained thiourea as stabiliser. The coatings deposited from an electroless bath have the increased hardness after heat treatment due to the transformation of amorphous phase Ni-P to crystalline phase Ni3P. Corrosion resistance of Ni-P coatings increased after heat treatment at 400 degrees C.
