摘要
Fluent, a general-purpose commercial computational fluid dynamic(CFD) package was used to investigate the effect of fin pitches in the air side flow field, pressure field and thermal field of a typical impact automobile louvered-fin heat exchanger based on a 3-D model which was validated early. Calculations were performed for different fin pitches and frontal velocities. The simulation results reveal the complex mechanisms behind the air side performances of heat exchangers and can be applied in engineering design directly.
