摘要
Although there are several research works and associated testbed implementations on building automation systems (BAS), the question of backhaul infrastructure selection remains relatively unaddressed. In our paper, we first introduce a toy model as a BAS design example that contains several automation functions, including lighting control and fire detection that are controlled by Arduino microcontroller. Then, through this model BAS, we discuss how to select the backhaul technologies based on actual data transmission requirements. A literature survey about the relevant publications are also provided.
