摘要
Order-disorder transformations in the mixed system Na(CN)(x)Br1-x have been studied using the Reverse Monte Carlo technique to model the total structure factors (Bragg and diffuse scattering) measured by neutron powder diffraction. As the crystals are cooled they exhibit a phase transition from cubic to orthorhombic, the temperature of which decreases with x until a cut off at x approximate to 0.7. Results for x = 0.75 are presented here. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
