On the semi-discretization method for feedback control design of linear systems with time delay

摘要：

The accuracy of the solutions obtained by the semi-discretization method for feedback control design on linear systmes with time delay was studied. Three approximation schemes in conjunction to the semi-discretization method were carried out for the study. The different measures for comparison of the approximation schemes were also been considered. It was found that the first order and improved zeroth order approximations increase the efficiency and accuracy of the method as compared to the zeroth order approximation.
