Spread of the Asiatic clam Corbicula fluminea in southern Pampas and northern Patagonia, Argentina

摘要：
The presence of Corbicula fluminea (Muller, 1778) was recorded in three streams during an extensive malacological survey in southern Buenos Aires province. The observed high densities and large sizes suggest an introduction date earlier than 1995. Downstream spread from its first records in the Colorado River and the Negro River has also been registered.
