摘要
Analyzing data on ten crisis topics, such as earthquakes, H1N1, and air crashes, under the theoretical framework of the engagement system in Appraisal Theory, the present study analyzes the distribution of engagement resources in Chinese crisis coverage, probes the features of the occurrences and tells how the authors use engagement resources to release objective, authentic, and neutral reports.
