摘要
The new video coding standard H.264/AVC achieves an enhanced compression performance through using more complicated motion estimation method, which is highly time-consuming. This paper proposes a new rapid algorithm, which can decide the kind of the motion by using the motion prediction and choose the different search method for the different motion. The result of experiments shows that this algorithm reduces the computational complexity of the motion estimation.
