On the existence and multiplicity of positive periodic solutions of a nonlinear third-order equation

摘要
In this paper, we are concerned with the existence and multiplicity of positive 2 pi-periodic solutions for the following nonlinear third-order problem u'''(t) + alpha u ''(t) + beta u'(t) = f(t, u(t)). Here alpha, beta are two positive constants, f (t, u) is an element of C(R x R, R) f (t + 2 pi, u) = f(t, u). The proof relies on a fixed point theorem on cones. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd.
