Preparation, characterization and luminescence of transparent thin film of ionogels

摘要
The sol-gel fabrication of luminescent and transparent thin film of ionogels containing trivalent lanthanide complexes have been obtained from the silylated ionic liquid in the presence of lanthanide salts (Ln(3+), Ln=Tb and Eu) and organic ligands. The resulting thin films were investigated by FT-IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and luminescence spectroscopy. FT-IR spectra reveal the hydrolysis and condensation of the silylated ionic liquid as well as the formation of luminescent lanthanide complexes in the thin films. Scanning electronic microscope images show the homogeneous characteristic of the thin films.
