Urban Sustainable Development Based on Ecological Footprint Analysis Model: Case Study of Changsha City

摘要
Ecological footprint is a new method to evaluate sustainable development. In this paper, we will calculate the ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity of Changsha by using the model. The result shows that: the per capita ecological footprint was last rising from 2007 to 2009, but declined from 2009 to 2011. The per capita ecological carrying capacity was last rising. And the development of Changsha gradually tends to be sustainable.
