摘要：
For aerial vehicles, especially when unmanned, the detection of lines-like power lines or cable car lines-is essential for collision avoidance or inspection. A method is presented to extract the lines even in front of cluttered background like trees by means of range filters, some morphological operations, Canny operator and Hough transformation. The result is a binary image which contains only the detected lines.
