摘要
In order to improve the accuracy of simulation, it is necessary to use electromagnetic transient calculation in modern large-scale power system mixed with AC/DC. This paper has brought up a rapid modeling method, which is able to deal with difficulties when modeling the power system with electromagnetic transient calculation manually. With the help of E-Tran library and self-defined components, problems have been effectively solved in the correspondence of the components between electromagnetic and electromechanical transients. Rapid modeling has been completed by MATLAB programs to transform from PSS/E files into PSCAD files, both of which can be opened as text file. Then, a case study has been carried out, illustrating the precision of fast modeling calculation. Meanwhile, the superiority of electromagnetic transient calculation has been demonstrated when asymmetry faults occur.
