摘要
Wurtzite ZnS complex spheres with high hierarchy can be synthesized easily by a mild solvothermal route in a mixed solvent of hydrazine hydrate and acetic acid at low temperature (110 degrees C). The ZnS complex spheres are assembled with branched nanorods, creating a novel structure with high hierarchy. The diameter of the trunks is about 10 nm, and the branches have an average diameter of about 6 nm. The ZnS complex spheres were found to display a strong blue-shift of 28 nm relative to that of bulk wurtzite ZnS. Time-dependent experiments were performed. Based on the experimental results, the phase transformation and shape evolution processes were discussed. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
