摘要
This paper deals with the on-line measurement of the dimensional parameters of rubber gaskets in the automotive industry. It tackles the problem of 3-D reconstruction, starting off with pairs of 2-D images of object shapes. An initial brief description of both the gasket production line and the measurement system is followed by a detailed discussion of edge detection, 3-D reconstruction and the algorithm used for measurement. Finally some information on the system metrological performance is given. (C) 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
