摘要：

In this manuscript, three patients with a neurostimulation system implant who underwent MRI scanning are presented. Possible hazards, effects of MR imaging and changes to the pulse generator's parameter settings are discussed. Concluded is that MRI can be safely used in certain carefully selected circumstances. If the neurostimulator is in the anatomic region of the scanned area caution is recommended and images are likely to be affected. (C) 1997 International Association for the Study of Pain.
