Viscosity Approximation Methods for Nonexpansive Mappings and Inverse-Strongly Monotone Mappings

In this paper, a two-step iterative scheme for finding the common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for inverse-strongly monotone mappings are studied. Using these results, we consider the problem of finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of zeros of an inverse strongly monotone mapping. The results presented in this paper extend, generalize and improve the results of H.Iiduka and W.Takahashi(2005) and of Chen, Zhang and Fan(2007).
