摘要
Heretofore, the researchers who are the experts of sports science focused on the muscle activity of lower limbs under the condition of wearing binding pedals to understand the skill of converting from physical power to the impulsive power of a bicycle. Although a lot of knowledge about the pedaling skill in respect to lower limb have been obtained, the skill of upper limb in pedaling exercise has not been reported. This study deems that the role of upper limb is important for a cyclist to efficiently transmit the physical power to the pedals. In this paper, this study firstly constructs the experimental device, where the muscles of upper limb recruited in pedaling exercise will be investigated.
