摘要
The newest gyrotron in Gyrotron FU series of Fukui University, Gyrotron FU IVA has been constructed and began to operate. As the field intensity can be increased up to 17T, frequency tunabilities up to 424 GHz by fundamental operations, up to 873 GHz by second harmonic operations and up to 1,324 GHz by third harmonic operations are expected. The design and the preliminary experimental results are presented. At the present, the frequency tunability up to 765 GHz by second harmonic operations has been achieved.
