Study of Nd-142 in a (n,n'gamma) reaction

摘要：

The spectra, angular distributions, and linear polarizations of gamma rays from an (n,n'gamma) reaction with fast reactor neutrons are measured. The diagram of energy levels and gamma transitions is constructed for Nd-142. The spin-parities are determined for a number of levels, and the multipole-mixing ratio delta is found in many gamma transitions. The system of levels that is presented for Nd-142 is stated to be complete up to E(lev) = 3.2 MeV.
