CONDITION MONITORING AND DIAGNOSTIC ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT
|
2001年
Recently, an instantaneous angular speed approach has been successfully used to detect changes in operational condition and reconstruct performance measures in diesel engines. This paper exploits condition monitoring of commonly encountered 3-phase induction motors. The paper commences with an overview of the angular speed concept. Implementation of signal processing required for this technique is also introduced. Then, fault detection and discrimination experimental results are presented. These experiments were conducted using an induction motor test rig operating under healthy and phase supply imbalance conditions, Finally, the capability of this approach is compared to vibration spectra technique.
