Photoinduced reduction of nanoclusters of silver bromide and silver bis(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate in water droplets of reverse AOT micelles

摘要
A microemulsion method of in situ synthesis of nanocrystalline particles of AgBr and AgAOT particles in water droplets of reverse AOT micelles 5.9 nm in radius is developed. This involves the use of the isooctane-water-sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate (AOT) system at the molar concentration ratio omega = [H2O]:[AOT] = 40. The optical spectra and the photolysis kinetics are studied for AgBr and AgAOT nanoparticles obtained in micellar solutions of gelatin from AgNO3 in the presence of ammonia.
