摘要
The Cu-67 therapeutic radionuclides emitting medium energy beta particle can be used in radioimmunotherapy, imaging, and tracer kinetic studies. In this work, the experimental and theoretical production yield of Cu-67 from the (ZnO)-Zn-nat and (nat)ZnONPs targets were investigated. The irradiations of targets were done at Tehran Research Reactor for 0.5 h within 1.4 x 10(13) n.cm(-2).s(-1) fast neutron flux. The nuclear codes of MCNPX and TALYS-1.8 were used to calculate the neutron distribution function and the average cross section of this reaction. The achieved results were compared with each other.
